Invasion is a challenge based game mode where you must survive against 8 themed waves of undead mobs and then the final boss wave. Each wave spawns every 5 minutes, with the first wave beginning at 5 in-game minutes, and the final boss wave at 50 minutes. The order of these waves is randomised, and the difficulty scales based on the number of players ingame and the game time at which they start. Invasion also features a shop system based around credits which are occasionally given out as time progresses. A credit pack is also spawned at a random position on the map every minute, which awards a further 100 credits to all players when any player (or I.S. bots/mini's) moves over it. Credits are used to purchase items from an in-game shop which is located to the top left of the screen. Purchased items are dropped off randomly at five specified areas around the map.
In order to win, you must get IL below 10 once genesis spawns in the boss wave. Winning in a 2-4 man run will unlock the fractal glaze
Below is a baseline of what to expect in waves, but spawns/harder bosses may spawn depending on the amount of players in lobby. It is important to remember ** WAVES ARE RANDOMISED, AND WILL NOT FOLLOW THIS ORDER **
